1. Ensure the power cable is firmly and fully attached.
2. Make sure the socket of your vehicle's auxiliary power outlet is clean and free of corrosion or deformation.
3. Make sure the power cable is firmly and fully seated in the auxiliary power outlet.
4. Ensure that the car fuse for the auxiliary power outlet has not tripped.
Turn off the Dashcam by pressing and holding the power button for eight seconds. Press it again to turn the unit back on.
Please make sure that both the front and rear camera lenses are clean and are free from fingerprints or smudges. Please clean both lenses using an approved lens cleaning solution, or with rubbing alcohol. Ensure that you have removed the protective film off the lens. Make sure the windshield around the camera lens is clean and free of dirt and debris. Both inside and outside of the vehicle.
Option 1: Restart the dash cam by pressing and holding the Power Button to turn the unit off. Press it again to turn the unit back on. Option 2: Using a pin, press the Reset Button. The device will turn off and turn back on automatically.
Step 1: Double-check to be certain that a Micro SD card is inserted into the device. Step 2: Please replace the new Micro SD card or format the Micro SD card.
Option 1: In the NexiGo Dash Cam manual, navigate to Setting > Storage >Format Micro SD Card. Option 2: Using a computer or laptop, follow the instructions provided by the OS manufacturer to format a disk.
Please go to the preview interface and check if you can see the image from the rear camera. 1. If yes, please verify whether the red trigger wire on the rear camera extension cable is electrically tied to the reversing lamp positive lead. 2. If not, please check all of the connections leading to rear camera to ensure that the camera is plugged into the system. Or reboot the device. If it still doesn't work, please contact our after-sales service.
0: Unless you have issues with the dash cam, we don't recommend any firmware updates. If you are not sure about if updates are needed, please contact our customer support cs@nexigo.com.
1: Make sure to download the authorized firmware from the Download tab or NexiGo customer service, unauthorized firmware will cause damage to the operating system.
2: DO NOT power off or unplug your dash cam while updating the firmware. If your car doesn’t maintain power to the auxiliary outlet when it’s off, make sure to leave your car running for the duration of the update. If the update is interrupted, it will cause damage to the operating system of the dash cam and it won’t be able to turn back on.
Firmware Update Instructions :
Step 1: Download the firmware update
Please check the Download tab on this page periodically for new firmware downloads.
Step 2: Load the update onto the Micro SD card
Remove the Micro SD card from the dash cam. Copy the latest version of the firmware from the NexiGo website into the root directory of the Micro SD card folder on your computer. DO NOT place it into a sub folder.
Step 3: Reinsert the Micro SD card
Insert the SD card with the new firmware into the dash cam when the dash cam is powered on.
Step 4: Confirm update
Once the dash cam recognizes the Micro SD card, it will prompt you to update the system. Once you confirm, the system will begin the update. Please do not power off or unplug your Dash Cam while the update is installing. If your car doesn’t maintain power to the auxiliary outlet when it’s off, make sure to leave your car running for the duration of the update.

How to Use the Dashcam’s Screen Interface:
1. Swipe up or down on the left-hand side of the screen to adjust the viewing angle.
2. Swipe left or right on the screen to switch between front and rear view cameras.
3. Swipe up or down on the right-hand side of the
screen to adjust the brightness. When swiping in
this area, the brightness indicator will
appear and you can also use this indicator to
adjust the brightness.
4. Double-tap the screen to save the currently
displayed image or video. Use this while operating
the vehicle to quickly save the Dashcam's
information.
