warranty policy

Limited Warranty Policy for NexiGo Projector Screen

1. What is Covered

  • NexiGo warrants its products to the first retail purchaser, if purchased new and operated in the United States or Canada, to be free from defects in workmanship and materials (except as provided below) for 12 months from the date of original purchase.
  • NexiGo may offer several delivery methods for warranty service, including but not limited to: parts and product shipment, mail-in service, and onsite/in-home service.
  • All projector screens sold directly by NexiGo (Nexight Inc.) or NexiGo's authorized resellers are covered by a limited warranty starting from the date of purchase.
  • This limited warranty only applies to projector screens located in the country of purchase. Projector screens taken outside of the country they were originally purchased in will lose their warranty coverage.
  • During the warranty period, customers in Canada, Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico are only covered for parts and replacement screens at no charge. Other costs such as freight and duty are not covered.
  • During the warranty period specified above, NexiGo will replace defective parts/products with either new parts/products, or serviceable parts/products that are equivalent to new parts/products in performance at no additional charge. All replaced or exchanged parts that are removed under this warranty shall be disposed of as necessary.
  • Replacement screens will only have warranty coverage for the remainder of the original projector screen’s warranty period, or 90 days, whichever is longer. Product warranties are void once a full refund has been issued.
  • Refurbished products purchased directly from NexiGo are warrantied for ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase.
  • NexiGo reserves the right to deny warranty claims and/or void a warranty if the claimed defect was caused by something other than defective parts or poor craftsmanship.

For quality-related warranty claims, items will be replaced with a factory refurbished model of equal value when available, otherwise a new item will be sent. In situations where a replacement is not an available or preferred option, NexiGo will offer a partial refund according to the usage time of the device.

2. How to Get Service

If this product proves defective during the warranty period, please contact customer support and describe the issue you are experiencing with your screen. You will need to provide proof of purchase and the serial number of your product. NexiGo customer support will assess whether the product requires service and provide further instructions on how to proceed with your warranty claim.

  • Inspect the packaging for visible damage within seven (7) days of receipt and promptly report any issues to customer service.
  • Please check the screen surface for any damage, scratches, or blemishes within seven (7) days of receipt. All damages must be reported before installation to avoid accidental damage.
  • You must provide your proof of purchase, the serial number of your product, and describe the problem you are experiencing with your screen.
  • You may be required to provide photographic or video evidence of the defect.

Note: Refusal to follow any one of these steps will void the unit’s warranty altogether.

Valid proof of purchase examples:

  • An order number from an online purchase made through NexiGo or one of NexiGo's authorized resellers;
  • A sales invoice;
  • A dated sales receipt from an authorized NexiGo reseller that shows a description of the product along with its price.

Note: In some cases, additional forms of proof of purchase may be required to process a warranty claim.

3. Missing Parts

For missing parts, NexiGo will replace the part free of charge, including shipping and handling (US Only), if you report your claim within seven (7) days of receipt. If you report your claim after seven (7) days but within thirty (30) days of receipt, NexiGo will replace the part free of charge, but you will be responsible for the cost of shipping and handling. If you report your claim after thirty (30) days of receipt, you will bear all costs associated with replacing the part.

Note: Canadian customers should note that while the warranty covers items that need replacement, you will be responsible for covering the cost of shipping parts and replacement screens, as well as any taxes and duties imposed by customs.

4. Returns and Exchanges

If a return is needed, NexiGo will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. This number will be valid for fifteen (15) days from the date of issue and is essential for processing any returns. Any returned item sent to NexiGo without a visible or valid RMA Number may be refused. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item and ensuring that the product is adequately packaged to prevent damage during transit. Please note that improper packaging may result in serious damage to the screen which will not be covered under warranty.

Upon receiving the returned product, NexiGo will replace the product or part without charge, including ground service freight, at NexiGo’s discretion. The replacement product or part may be new or refurbished to NexiGo's standard of quality and will be subject to stock availability. NexiGo's liability for the replacement of the covered product will not exceed the original retail selling price of the covered product. Any replacement products/parts will assume the remaining warranty period of the original product covered by this limited warranty.

Warranty Claim

Warranty claims expire ninety (90) days after they are opened unless NexiGo receives the unit during that period. If a product is not returned within that time frame, an extension of the warranty service request will need to be provided by the customer. Otherwise, the warranty service cannot be provided and the projector screen will be returned to the customer if it is delivered after the warranty claim expires.

Products with expired warranties are still eligible for warranty servicing if a claim is made before the original warranty period expires. If the case expires, it will not be possible to re-open a warranty claim for the item.

Shipping costs must be covered by the buyer in the following situations:

  • When returning products for any reason other than a proven manufacturing defect;
  • When returning accidental purchases;
  • When returning items not manufactured by NexiGo;
  • When returning items alleged to be defective but found by NexiGo quality control to be in working condition;
  • When returning defective items through international shipping;
  • When returns are made outside of the approved warranty process.
  • When orders were placed more than 30 days ago.

In addition, customers in Canada, Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico will be responsible for covering the cost of shipping parts and replacement screens, as well as any taxes and duties imposed by customs.

Note: NexiGo assumes responsibility for any damage or loss incurred during transit when items are returned using a prepaid shipping label provided by NexiGo. The customer assumes responsibility for any damage or loss incurred during transit when items are being returned for non-quality-related issues. In these cases, NexiGo does not provide refunds for items that are damaged or lost while in transit.

5. What is Not Covered:

  • Products without proof of purchase;
  • Items with an expired warranty;
  • Issues unrelated to quality (starting 30 days from the purchase date);
  • Damage caused by normal wear and tear;
  • Purchases from unauthorized resellers;
  • Products with a removed/defaced serial number or warranty seal;
  • Claims for missing accessories not reported within seven (7) working days after receipt.

This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover products purchased by another end user.

This warranty does not cover incidental damages, such as loss of time, loss of use, or installation costs of defective, repaired, or replaced products. This warranty does not cover products that have been damaged or rendered defective as a result of (a) neglect, abuse or misuse; (b) modification of the original product; (c) improper use or installation of products not manufactured by NexiGo; (d) service provided by anybody other than NexiGo; (e) abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions; (f) unusual physical or electrical stress -including failure or fluctuation of electrical power, lighting, static electricity, fire, tornadoes, or other natural disasters.

Each party is responsible for one-way shipping during the warranty period. NexiGo does not warrant against freight damage, concealed or otherwise, unless the product is shipped directly from the NexiGo warehouse. You must contact the vendor and the delivering carrier to report freight damage within seven (7) days of receipt. Failure to report freight damages within the carrier’s guidelines may result in you bearing all costs.
